Giottos SP8181 Aegis Multi-coated LCD Screen Protector for Canon EOS 350D Review

I have had much better luck with my screen protector (now on D3 for one year). It still looks like new. The camera has been to about 50 Events and had about 300.000 clicks. If the edges were getting chipped I would not like to see what the LCD would look like without it. Sound like others abuse their cameras a lot.
My Giottos Schott Glass cover reduces glare but also darkens the image slightly like a good pair of sun glasses. This is a plus in bright light and not much downside in dark as there is aplenty of adjustment in the LCD brightness.

I have tried the Hoodman covers and they always end up scratched beyond usefulness. I also used the cheap Promaster film protectors and they are very hard to put on without bubbles and don't last either.
